Product information

Reliability

Our frozen camel milk undergoes careful quality control. We regularly send milk samples to laboratories to analyze its composition and ensure the highest quality. The milk is cooled immediately after milking in a closed system, preventing contamination by dirt or bacteria. Bottles are frozen directly after filling, ensuring the milk retains its properties and remains shelf-stable for up to one year.

Long Shelf Life and Easy Storage

Frozen camel milk has a shelf life of up to one year after production. Once thawed, it can be kept for 3 days in the refrigerator. To maintain its quality, thaw the milk in the fridge. Note: Once thawed, the milk cannot be refrozen. If 0.5-liter bottles are too large for single use, we also offer 250ml bottles for smaller portions. The square shape of our bottles makes them easy to store in the freezer or fridge.

A Great Alternative to Cow’s Milk

Camel milk is an excellent alternative for people who avoid cow’s milk. It contains no beta-lactoglobulin, a common trigger for cow milk allergies, and is entirely free of cow milk proteins. Instead, camel milk contains highly digestible camel proteins, calcium, zinc, and protein. It is also rich in lactoferrin and immunoglobulins, two components that support a stronger immune system. According to the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization), camel milk is one of the healthiest animal milks.

Discover the Unique Taste of Camel Milk

The taste of camel milk is similar to raw cow’s milk. Some people note a slightly saltier flavor due to the higher mineral content. Camel milk tastes less fatty because of its naturally low fat content.

How to Use Frozen Camel Milk

  • Thaw the milk in the fridge; once thawed, it will remain fresh for 3 days.
  • Enjoy a glass as a nutritious snack.
  • Add it to smoothies for an extra nutritional boost.
  • Use it in your favorite recipes as a cow milk substitute.
  • Make hot chocolate with our ChoCamel chocolate milk lollipop (made from camel milk).

An Animal-Friendly Product

Camels are natural herd animals. At our farm, they are kept in groups and, during dry and mild weather, graze freely in large pastures. In the stables, camels rest on thick straw bedding. Calves born on our farm stay with their mothers for an extended period before weaning. After each milking session (morning and evening), calves remain with their mothers for 1.5 hours to maintain a strong bond.
