Product information
Long Shelf Life and Easy to Store
The frozen camel milk can be stored for up to one year after the production date. Once thawed, the milk is still good for 3 days. Be sure to thaw the milk in the refrigerator to maintain its quality. Once the milk has been thawed, it cannot be refrozen. Are the 0.5-liter bottles too much to drink at once? For added convenience, we also offer bottles of 250ml, ideal for smaller users.
Thanks to the practical square shape of our bottles, they are easy to store in both the freezer and refrigerator.
Reliability
Our frozen camel milk is carefully checked for quality. We regularly send milk samples to the lab to test for various components in camel milk that ensure its quality. This guarantees that we only sell frozen camel milk of the highest quality.
Our camel milk is cooled in a closed system immediately after milking, ensuring no dirt or bacteria can contaminate it. After filling, the bottles are placed directly into the freezer. This process ensures the milk remains good for a year while retaining its beneficial properties.
A Good Alternative to Cow’s Milk
Camel milk is an excellent alternative for people who do not drink cow’s milk. It does not contain beta-lactoglobulin, which plays a major role in causing cow milk allergies. Camel milk is also completely free of cow’s milk proteins and only contains camel milk proteins. It is a great source of calcium and easily digestible proteins and is rich in zinc and protein. In addition, camel milk contains lactoferrin and immunoglobulins, two substances that contribute to a stronger immune system. According to the FAO (the Food and Agriculture Organization), camel milk is one of the healthiest animal milk types.
Discover the Unique Taste of Camel Milk
The taste of our camel milk is comparable to raw cow’s milk. Some people find camel milk has a slightly saltier taste than cow’s milk due to its high mineral content. Camel milk also tastes less fatty because of its very low fat content.
How to Use Frozen Camel Milk
- Allow the milk to thaw in the refrigerator. Once thawed, the milk will stay fresh for three days.
- Enjoy a glass of delicious camel milk as a nutritious snack.
- Add it to your smoothie for a boost of nutrients and an extra taste experience.
- Use it in your favorite recipe as a substitute for cow’s milk.
- Make hot chocolate with our ChoCamel chocolate milk lolly (made from camel milk).
An Animal-Friendly Product
Camels are true herd animals. Therefore, all our camels are kept in groups. When the weather is dry and not too cold, all our camels go outside into our large pastures, where they can graze freely. In the stables, the camels rest on a thick layer of straw.
The calves born on our farm stay with us. They remain with their mothers for an extended period before being fully weaned. After each milking session (in the morning and evening), the calves stay with their mothers for another hour and a half. This ensures that the bond between the calf and the mother remains strong.
