Wentel de sneetjes brood 1 voor 1 door het eimengsel en stapel ze op een bord. Schenk de rest van het eimengsel over de broodstapel. Laat het eventjes intrekken. Verhit de helft van de boter in een koekenpan en bak de helft van de wentelteefjes in 5 minuten goudbruin. Keer ze halverwege om.
